GOOD 2025 is the inaugural global community conference of users and developers of Open OnDemand. March 17-20, GOOD is a 4-day in-person event where attendees will have the opportunity to attend live keynote sessions and talks, tutorials, and get to know fellow members of the Open OnDemand Community.

The event will be in-person at the Center for Government and International Studies (CGIS) South Building, Harvard University (1730 Cambridge St., Cambridge, MA 02138).

The conference will span from March 17 to March 20.

Entrance

Enter through the Cambridge St. doors (near the intersection with Prescott St.).
Once inside:

  • Take the stairs on the right to the lower level, or

  • Use the elevators straight ahead.

  • You’ll receive a badge at the registration desk, which will grant you access to all sessions and events.

Contributor Jam

Cost | Complimentary! Simply indicate your participation when registering for the conference. A conference pass for March 18-20 is required.

Required programming level | Attendees of all programming levels and experience are invited to participate. There will be something for everyone.

What is the Contributor Jam? | The Contributor Jam will offer attendees an immersive opportunity to work closely with Open OnDemand (OOD) developers. Participants will gain an understanding of OOD's components and leave with the knowledge and tools to contribute to its development.

    • Discover the development tools and dev files designed to simplify the process.

    • Navigate the contributor guides for seamless onboarding.

  • Demonstrate and Learn

    • Witness OOD's functionality in action, including its support for schedulers, OS compatibility, and applications.

    • Deepen your understanding of the OOD documentation.

  • Take Home Resources

    • Leave with a cheat sheet crafted by the OOD developers, packed with practical tips and shortcuts.

Call for Proposals

GOOD 2025 is a three-day, in-person conference featuring live talks, tutorials, keynote sessions, and vibrant community events. The conference brings together experts from industry, academia, and government to share their latest advancements, learn from seasoned users and developers, and collaborate on cutting-edge projects.

The program kicks off with a half-day of tutorials on the morning of Tuesday, March 18, followed by two days packed with talks, Birds-of-a-feather (BoFs), posters, and more, wrapping up by early afternoon on Thursday, March 20. All presentations will be delivered in person. Please note, speakers are responsible for arranging their own travel and accommodation. Eligible for a CCEP Grant to Attend GOOD 2025? 

U.S.-based speakers and attendees of the GOOD25 Conference may be eligible to have their travel and registration expenses covered through the NSF ACCESS CCEP program.
