What is GOOD 2025?

GOOD 2025 (Global Open OnDemand Conference) is the inaugural gathering of users, developers, and stakeholders in the Open OnDemand community. This 3-day in-person event, taking place from March 18-20, 2025, will provide a unique platform for attendees to engage with experts, share insights, and explore advancements in Open OnDemand—a groundbreaking tool that offers web-based access to supercomputing resources. With a focus on collaboration and innovation, GOOD will feature keynote talks, lightning sessions, and networking opportunities designed to empower participants to drive the future of remote supercomputing access.

Open OnDemand is a web-based platform that provides easy remote access to supercomputing resources, enabling users to run advanced computing tasks from any device with a browser. Developed by the Ohio Supercomputer Center (OSC), it eliminates the need for client software installation, allowing students, researchers, and industry professionals to compute from anywhere. Open OnDemand is designed to simplify supercomputer access with a user-friendly interface, offering powerful virtual computing labs across various disciplines.

In Memory of Chris Blanton

We are deeply grateful for the contributions of the late Chris Blanton to the GOOD25 Organizing Committee. Chris was a dedicated and insightful member who brought warmth, humor, and wisdom to our work. He passed away unexpectedly this year, and his absence is felt profoundly by all who had the privilege of working with him. Chris's legacy will continue to inspire our efforts, and he will be greatly missed.
